At the Glens of Antrim Historical Society office in Cushendall we now have a unique selection of books with a special local focus. The attractive range of publications on sale includes stories of life and events in the Glens in times gone by, histories of sporting clubs, Townland and place names and celebrations of the landscape by artists and poets.
We have also recently stocked up on children’s books available in English and Irish, priced at £5.00, they will make excellent stocking-fillers !

As well as new hardbacks and paperbacks and copies of (almost) all recent editions of the Historical Society’s own annual journal, The Glynns, this mini-bookshop offers a fascinating range of second-hand volumes in excellent condition, some of which are eminently collectable.

As existing members will know, the fee of £15 buys admission to the remaining events in the Society’s annual lecture series, with four talks from January to April 2024 – on subjects ranging from digital film archives to the history of buildings from Belfast to Ballycastle.
