Bellair clachan is located in the townland of Bellair (parish of Tickmacrevan) in Glenarm.
The photographs below show the main buildings which make up the clachan area today. The photograph numbers correspond to the numbers in the sketch map.
The clachan is now part of a working farm owned by one of the families who lived there in the mid-nineteenth century. Most of the original buildings or dwellings within the clachan have been converted for agricultural use, but the older dwellings within the clachan can be seen in the photographs.
Bellair was a gathering place in the area for a contingent of the United Irishmen in the 1798 rebellion. There was once a race course in the townland owned by the Earls of Antrim.
