The Glens of Antrim Historical Society March presentation, will take place in St Mary’s Parish Centre, Cushendall. It will be presented by Frank Rogers and individual members of the U3A Choir, Palaver Group and friends. It is entitled ‘Songs of Freedom’ and it involves the playing of a dozen songs from around the world celebrating the ideal of freedom, with the recital of some of the famous quotes and speeches on the same theme. The presentation should have a special resonance in the context of Ukraine’s heroic defence of freedom in the face of Russian aggression. A great evening’s entertainment is assured and the audience will be encouraged to join in and sing along. Everyone is welcome to attend, non members admission fee £3.
